Archdiocese of New York

Professional Development Programs

Sophia Institute for Teachers is thrilled to offer New York teachers a completely customized, full-year curriculum that follows the Archdiocesan Religion Guidelines and Pacing Guide.

This year's programs will focus on making the most of these engaging and easy to use lesson plans. Teachers will spend the day exploring how to access and use the curriculum, which features 150 days of instructional material per grade level and includes sacred art, vocabulary, reading, critical thinking questions, and hundreds of teacher-tested activities proven to engage students.

Enjoy interactive and hands-on sessions by a master teacher as well as enriching presentations from a respected catechetical or theological scholar.
