Virtual Workshop
Join us for a 6 session series on the 12 articles of the Creed. Explore content with two of our dynamic presenters and discover practical tips and ideas for engaging your students. All teachers and catechists who participate will receive free teacher and catechist-written lessons for use in your classrooms. Additionally, you will receive a certificate for 6 hours of professional development after completing the six lessons. Each session will be 45-60 minutes long. Live sessions will take place from 7:00-8:00pm Eastern time. You may register to join us live or watch recordings on your own time. Recordings will be ready for viewing on the Monday following the live session. Live sessions will take place on the following dates:

Wednesday, October 21st (God the Son, Part 2)

The cost for this series is $19.99 and includes access to live and recorded sessions as well as 12 lessons to use with your students. Once your registration and payment is received you will receive the Zoom link and passcode for the live sessions.

Presenters

Jose Gonzalez joined the team at Sophia Institute for Teachers in 2014 after more than 10 years as a Catholic high school teacher. In addition to teaching Jose has experience working in parish and diocesan ministry. Jose has led over 250 of our workshops in over 45 dioceses, and contributes regularly to our teacher's guides and digital instructional resources. He has a BA in theology with a concentration in religious education from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and an MA in evangelization and catechesis from the Augustine Institute. Jose and his wife, Mary Beth, have four children.

Anne Rennie joined the team at Sophia Institute for Teachers with eight years of teaching experience in Catholic schools. She assists with support, curriculum, and professional development programs. She has also taught faith formation, confirmation classes, and RCIA in parishes. Anne’s experience also includes several years in the business world and in higher ed administration. She has a BA in Liberal Studies, an Apostolic Catechetical Diploma from Magdalen College, and a Masters in Theological Studies from Saint John’s Seminary in Boston.
