Bring the fullness of the Faith alive in the hearts of your students — and catechists!

As a religious education director, you know better than anyone that the opposite of love is indifference. For so many families, the conventional textbook experience is underwhelming.

You see the results: disengaged students, apathetic parents, and frustrated catechists.

Spirit of Truth was created to help you change that dynamic.

Our new K-8 religious education program takes your students on an immersive and memorable journey through the Catholic Faith. Our engaging lesson plans and activities will give your catechists the confidence they need to create an engaging environment that they and their students actually look forward to each week.

What makes Spirit of Truth unique?

Keeps Your Students Engaged

Spirit of Truth provides lesson plans for every week of your religious education program, including vivid sacred art reflections, stories of the saints, games, role-plays, and critical thinking questions, to help catechists capture and keep their students' attention.

Provides a Meaningful Encounter with Our Faith

Spirit of Truth covers the breadth of the entire Catechism in a rich and age-appropriate way, to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and differing familiarity with the Catholic Faith.

Emphasizes the Importance of Your Students' Personal Spiritual Journey.

While it's important for your students to understand the Faith, Spirit of Truth is designed to help them internalize the Faith and apply it to their own lives, providing ample opportunity for them to reflect on how everything they are learning applies to their own lived experience.

Makes Life Easier for Your Catechists

Our weekly lesson plan format simplifies preparation without sacrificing content or quality.

"Spirit of Truth doesn't present religion as a simple set of facts and rules dictating how we should act. It connects students with the Faith and leads them to understand why their faith matters in their day-to-day living."

What teachers are saying about Spirit of Truth

I can't tell you how happy we are with the Spirit of Truth series. It puts us back in a position to actually teach the Gospel message in a truthful way.
Miriam Rios Day, Director of Religious Education at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid, OK
Spirit of Truth incorporates all the things I look for in a Catechetical text. First and foremost, it has at its core Jesus Christ, and everything is taught in reference to Him. Secondly, it is a full presentation of our Catholic Faith. Lastly I am so excited that this series is USABLE! It's INTERACTIVE! It is filled with beautiful sacred art. There is endless support from the staff at Sophia Institute and a website with tons of resources for Catechists.
Kelly Vardakas, Director of Religious Education, St. Patrick Church, Yorktown Heights, NY
