How to Use

Use these 20-30 minute activities to help students of all age groups encounter the beauty, truth, and goodness of God in magnificent works of Catholic art, architecture, music, or sculpture.

This Month's Lessons

January 2022

In this lesson, students will encounter the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter in Rome, and learn about some of the artistic and architectural marvels it contains.

Access Past Lessons

December 2021

In this lesson, students will hear a beautiful musical setting of the Salve Regina. They will then reflect on their experience of it, and discuss how the musical setting of this prayer helps to affirm, celebrate, or illuminate our Holy Catholic Faith.

September 2021

In this lesson students will encounter and reflect on Michelangelo's beautiful sculpture of Mary cradling the lifeless body of her Son, which is known as the Pietà. They will then discuss how the Pietà affirms, celebrates, or illuminates our Catholic Faith

May 2021

In this lesson, students will hear a beautiful motet (a musical composition written for multiple voices), reflect on their experience of it, and discuss how the motet affirms, celebrates, or illuminates our Holy Catholic Faith.
