Lesson Overview

The simplicity, beauty, order, and originality of water and its far-reaching effects on the living world will impress upon your students the importance of water to living things and the marvelous Providence of God.  This lesson could be offered during the Chemistry unit of high school Biology, during high school Chemistry or Physical Science.  Included are a powerpoint, lecture notes, and labs that demonstrate water's unique properties.  Knowledge of water will not only lay the foundation of scientific knowledge for your students, but will also increase the virtues of humility, gratitude and awe as they ponder this marvelous creation of God!

Donna's lesson showing God's awesomeness through scientific discussion of water is a great way of witnessing to our Lord in science class. As a high school theology teacher I applaud you, Donna, and highly recommend your ideas to science teachers.
