This lesson is intended to focus the minds of your students early in the semester by spending an entire class period on the importance of this subject by examining reasons why people feel that studying Theology or any religious branch is superfluous. The lesson begins by recognizing the arguments both students and those in the world make against religious education. From there, students read real articles and blogs which give various reasons for its importance. The lesson closes providing a comprehensive response to the initial arguments made in the lesson.
