Teacher-Written Lesson

Miracle Interview and News Article

  • Written by Katie Wilson

Lesson Overview

Students will choose (or you can chose) a miracle that Jesus performed in the Bible. They will read the passage from the Bible and then pick a witness they can interview. Using the Bible passage, they will fill in the blanks and create an interview with that witness. The student will then take that information and write a news story explaining the miracle and using direct quotes from the witness. This lesson should help them to become more "familiar" with Jesus's miracles while getting creative and practicing news writing and correct punctuation with direct quotes.
