  • Written by Michael McLaughlin
  • 5 class periods

Lesson Overview

I provided copies of these notes to students at the start of our study on the Middle Ages in Europe. The study began with an overview of the Roman Empire and the Fall of Rome and covered "life in the Middle Ages," the Crusades, and the Bubonic Plague. The lecture was enhanced through a PowerPoint that displayed primary source images and quotes from documents.
