Lesson Overview

Based on the Sunday Gospel readings in September 2015, each free eLesson offers a variety of hands-on, easily adaptable activities to bring Scripture to life. By using these resources, your students will:

Explore how Jesus touches us and opens our ears and eyes so that we too might be healed and confident to serve the Lord. (Mark 7:31-37)

Explore Jesus’ identity and consider the conditions for discipleship.  (Mark 8:27-35)

Consider the difference between our society’s opinions of greatness versus what Jesus teaches, and how that distinction applies to their own lives. (Mark 9:30-37)

Assess Jesus’ teaching on sin, as well as apply it to various scenarios. (Mark 9:38-43)
