Joy of the Gospel - Five Lessons for April 2018

Lesson Overview

This month, your students will celebrate Christ's Resurrection, reflect on God's mercy, prepare their own witness to Jesus, reflect on how they can better follow Jesus our Good Shepherd, and contemplate ways to strengthen their own prayer lives.  

All lessons have been differentiated for older and younger learners to help you best engage your students.

APRIL 1, 2018, EASTER SUNDAY
Students celebrate the most important feast in the life of the Church, Christ’s Resurrection, in their own lives. 
 
APRIL 8, 2018, SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER
Students reflect on and rejoice in the beauty that is the mercy of God.
 
APRIL 15, 2018, THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
Students prepare their own witness testimony to Jesus to share the Good News with others and reflect on sacred art. 
 
APRIL 22, 2018, FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER
Students learn about how real shepherds call their sheep and reflect on how they can better follow Jesus in their own lives.  

APRIL 29, 2018, FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER
Students contemplate how to strengthen their own prayer life.
