This is a typical example of how I use fine art in 6th-grade Religious Ed. Catholic art is often loaded with catechetical content- why not take advantage?

A wonderful example of how to use fine art in the Middle School classroom. I can think of many other paintings that could be analyzed in a similar way, so this lesson is a great starting point. Thanks for sharing!
