Building Beginnings- Mary Visits Elizabeth

  • Written by Katie Wilson
  • 30 minutes

Lesson Overview

Students will work on writing great beginnings for narrative writings by creating three new ways to begin the gospel when Mary visits Elizabeth. Students will work on developing the setting, introducing the characters, and jumping right into the action. Your students will play with the order of these three elements and create three new ways to begin this story. This is a great way to work on beginnings in narrative writings while becoming more familiar with the Bible!
